Helping People Achieve Financial Independence via Networking and Education
Cache Valley Area Investors Association
LOGAN, Utah- The goal of Cache Valley Area Investors Association is to help members realize the importance of financial independence and to educate members on ways to achieve this independence. President and founder of CVAIA, Preston Parker started the organization on the hopes that he could help people live within their means and become financially responsible. "Financial education needs to be a more pressing issue in today's world. I've seen too many people who don't realize the danger of spending until crisis and who suffer the consequences of not understanding passive income," said Parker.
One of the main motives behind Parker's efforts to start CVAIA was that he was growing tired of hearing people complain about their financial struggles. He established a safe environment for people of all ages and backgrounds to come together to discuss financial issues and trade ideas for financial success.
Parker helps individuals save their income and helps them achieve financial stability through educated investment choices. Member meetings take place every other Thursday from 7:00-8:30 at the Cache Valley Chamber of Commerce. From 7-7:30-members network to get to know each other and from 7:30-8:30 an invited guest facilitates a discussion or presentation. Everyone is welcome to attend the meetings and are encouraged to come learn about financial freedom.

"Many people don't see the countless benefits of social media; it's so much more than newly-posted Facebook pictures, or a Tweet about you're bad hair day. It's a way of connecting with the world," explained Parker.
The Cache Valley Chapter of Social Media Club was started in August 2009 after branching off from the Salt Lake Chapter. There are between 40-60 active members that meet monthly.
